A suggestion for future posts - a one or two sentence blurb about the subject matter for each item on the list.
I'll be clicking through it later regardless -but I've found that particular list format immensely helpful with other posts like this plus it may help you get more eyes on it for longer :)
YES. Nell is a genius !! She is hilarious. She has a new book - Avalon. It is the only one that I haven’t read yet, but I really need to get to it. During the pandemic I kept thinking “i can’t wait to see how nell Zink satirizes this nonsense”. She’s so good.
Also have read all of sally Rooney. Her politics kind of annoy me sometimes, but she describes the post 9/11 generation millennial generation very well. And Irish culture as well (so I am told by Irish people -- who have told me she’s basically influenced a whole genre of Irish literature in this generation). If you like her then I really recommend “exciting times” by naoise Ronan, who is also Irish and it describe a very similar kind of emotion and characters.
Glad you appreciate a book list :) I have some others I’ve published if you like.
Adding allllll the Zinks and Ronan to my list! I'll be browsing through your archives! But first, back to my writing :) Literally cutting and pasting my scenes today ;)

Noted ! Thanks for the feedback ❤️
Love me some Zink and Rooney! Have you read Mislaid by Zink? She wrote about Dolezal before Dolezal.

Oh and yes casual Marxism annoys the hell out of me but that proves what a good writer Rooney is! BDS notwithstanding. 🙄
